October at Betsy's in Brooklin

Leaf Season is upon us and the colors are glorious. It seems that all of Brooklin is ablaze! No real hard frost yet, so there are still cosmos and zinnias and fantastic dahlias in peoples gardens just to add to the fall display. Pumpkins are showing up on porches and Halloween decorations are beginning to pop up here and there!

At Betsy's we are busy changing out summer merchandise for fall. Adding beautiful new fall colors to our assortment of linens and candles and throw rugs. Making sure we have everything you might need for a holiday feast from turkey lifters, platters, and bright spatterware roasting pans to brining bags, grilling herbs and colorful holiday dish towels.

While we are at it we are marking down selected summer merchandise as much as 50%! Fall Foliage Wine and Food Festival is this weekend in Blue Hill so take a scenic drive to Brooklin while you are in the area and scoop up some bargains and some hot new items at Betsy's!

Don't forget to pick up Halloween cards and fun felted trick or treat bags for your little ghouls and goblins while you are here.

Greg is still hanging out by the BBQ and getting ready to start brining a turkey or two with our new brining herbs, bags and turkey spice rubs. Also excited about the new Alabama style white BBQ sauce just coming in from Cue Culture in Portland. We'll see if it meets with this Alabama boys approval!

Making plans for a Holiday Open House and will get dates and times posted soon! Probably right around Thanksgiving weekend.

Stay tuned.
